The Flying Geese Quilters Guild of Irvine presents its bi-annual “Quilted Treasures” Quilt Auction and Luncheon/Tea, Saturday, April 21, 2018, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Live quilt auction of beautiful handmade quilts, silent auction, and raffle baskets. The annual Wine Country Quilt Show and Sale includes over 300 locally handmade quilts. Our featured award winning guest artist for 2017 is Diane Roberts. There are 18 vendors from all over the west coast and a boutique selling crafts made by our members as well as some of the quilts hanging in the show.
Saturday, June 23, 10 - 5 and Sunday, June 24, 10 - 4. Theme this year is "On the Farm." More than 150 beautiful quilts, demonstrations of quilting and fabric art techniques, raffle prizes, vendors, and more. Admission $5, good for both days. Proceeds benefit the Soroptimist International of Noyo Sunrise's scholarship fund and community projects of the Ocean Wave Quilters.
The show hangs 200 plus quilts and is a FREE event organized by 50 creative artists who wish to bring the quilting arts to the local community. We have specialty vendors, an I Spy for Kids and a member boutique. We proudly display a Sister City Exhibit from Mizuho, Japan. The featured artist for 2015 is Vicki Johnson. The show is during The Taste of Morgan Hill, an annual event with food and wine, street artists and vendors, and a vintage car show. This year's theme is - The Community Spirit of Giving. There will be a Quilts of Valor Presentation on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the Cultural Center Courtyard.
This is a judged, open-entry show of 200+ quilts. Our featured quilter is designer and blogger Lynn Wilder of http://sewnwildoaks.blogspot.com/. There will be a vendor mall with quilt fabric, books, patterns, notions, etc., a Country Store, Challenge and Round Robin exhibits, door prizes, a Silent Auction and demonstrations. Our stunning Opportunity Quilt will be raffled off at the end of the show, so this will be your last chance to buy the winning ticket!
17th Annual show with hundreds of colorful quilts displayed throughout Old Town Temecula hanging from porches, eaves & balconies. Show includes vendors, live quilt auction, small quilt silent auction, featured quilter Leora Raikin, drawing for opportunity quilt winner. "Quilt Walk" held two weeks prior featuring quilts hung inside several shops in Old Town.
